The model has been covered with high quality durable prints. Prints imitate armoring and painting of the vehicle from the early period of World War II. The vehicle has been equipped with movable wheels with real tires. The caterpillar traction consisting of realistic brick links works and behaves like a real one while moving the vehicle. Storage compartments, opening rear double doors, machine guns and additional accessories make playing with the transporter more attractive. Armoured personnel carrier Sd.Kfz.251 is an ideal set for both small and big fans of construction bricks. It will look great both on the shelf and in the diorama. Older fans of the bricks will appreciate the model as a collector's item and inspiration for the construction of realistic dioramas or their own designs. Slightly more experienced constructors will find in this model a huge scope for modification. German Army had a dizzying number of 23 official versions of the transporter, designed for very different tasks. You can easily remove the guns and try to create a fire support version with a cannon or a technical support vehicle. Adding a tarpaulin or roof is in turn a way to create a sanitary version.

Sd.Kfz.251 is the basic half-track armoured personnel carrier of the German army during WWII. Its production lasted from 1939 to 1945. Other combat vehicles were also built on its basis. It was produced in four production models, from A to D, as well as 23 basic and many field versions, of which the standard and most numerous was the Sd.Kfz.251/1 armoured personnel carrier. The design of the Sd.Kfz.251 was based on a modified Sd.Kfz.11 chassis. The armoured hull was manufactured from welded armoured plates and consisted of two large parts bolted together. The front part ended behind the driver's seat. It protected the driver, commander and engine. The combat compartment, open from above, was intended to accommodate 10 soldiers. A large outward-opening rear door allowed access to the interior.
