"7.62 mm semi-automatic pistol, model 1933. (wartime issue) - differed by simplified construction and worse quality of detailing; some pistols were equipped with wooden cheekbones.

The 1933 edition (TT, Tulskiy Tokarev, GRAU index - 56-A-132) was a semi-automatic pistol developed in 1930 by the Soviet designer Fyodor Vasilyevich Tokarev. The first domestically-designed semi-automatic pistol adopted for service in the USSR.

The TT pistol is notable for its simple construction - low production cost and ease of maintenance. Atypical for pistols very powerful cartridge provides unusually high penetration and muzzle energy of about 500 Joules. This pistol has a short, light trigger and is very accurate, so an experienced shooter can hit the target at high velocity and low muzzle velocity.
